Dance shares humanity across borders, cultures, and ethnicities. Traditional arts may be practiced by individuals, but they belong to larger communities. Dancers play a vital role in preserving cultural identity and fostering deep-rooted, cross-cultural awareness. Dance offers a unique opportunity to celebrate lasting connections. Bulgarian folk dances, in particular, are known for their beautiful costumes, lively energy, exciting rhythms, and dynamic footwork. GORANA DANCE company moved in harmony both as individuals and as a collective group for the past 20 years - Free as the Water; Generous as the Wheat, Nurturing as the Bread!. We celebrate our mission as cultural ambassadors of Bulgaria in US, under the leadership of Elissaveta Iordanova as producer, artistic director and choreographer.
